When To Seek Emergency Pet Care

If you feel your pet is in crisis, you should seek emergency care. Often you know your pet’s habits very well and will know when something is amiss. However, here are some guidelines that will help you determine if you need to seek emergency care:

  • Respiratory difficulty

  • Abdominal swelling

  • Shock

  • Vomiting or diarrhea

  • Bleeding

  • Heat stress

  • Seizures

  • Snake bites

  • Hypothermia or Hyperthermia
